The 12-hour continuing education series was created by a multidisciplinary group of health care professionals including educators, researchers and clinicians in the fields of chiropractic, medicine and public health. It focuses on the important role that doctors can play in not only promoting physical health but also guiding behavioral changes, addressing social determinants of health, and promoting communication and collaboration with mental health and social workers.
Titles in the series include:
- Aligning Environmental Health and Chiropractic Care
- Communicating Health Messages to Patients
- Addressing Social Determinants of Health in Chiropractic Clinical Practice
- Addressing Patient Health Behavior Through Applied Health Behavior Theory
- Health Equity: The Chiropractor’s Role in Addressing Health Equity in a Multicultural Society

The webinar series is free to ACA members. Non-members can purchase courses individually or opt for a discounted package rate.
“ACA’s mission is to inspire its members to enhance the health and wellness of their communities. This webinar series is well aligned with that mission, and we are excited to be able to share it with our members and others through Learn ACA,” said ACA President Marcus Nynas, DC.
The APHA Chiropractic Health Care Section enhances public health through the application of chiropractic knowledge to the community. As part of its mission, the section seeks to promote interdisciplinary communication and cooperation between the chiropractic profession and other health care professions and to enhance participation by chiropractic physicians and chiropractic institutions in public health.
