Q: What was your motivation behind writing Unblock Your Purpose?

A: I wanted to create a clear, tangible guide for people to discover their purpose, which I believe is the most fulfilling feeling in the world. The book was an accumulation of my journey and the milestones, past emotions and relationships I had to heal in order to find clarity and alignment. Only then was I able to connect creative skills, passions and obstacles to be of service to others and contribute to something greater than ourselves. That’s where true joy, fulfillment and abundance come from. My goal was to create a tool that helps people access their intuition, find peace, build confidence and discover their purpose—the same transformative experiences I’ve found for myself and my clients through hypnobreathwork.

Q: Please explain hypnobreathwork. What are the benefits?

A: HypnoBreathwork is a 22-minute daily practice that combines breathwork (to clear suppressed emotions), hypnosis (to reprogram subconscious limiting beliefs), and visioning (to mentally rehearse who you want to become). It helps you achieve mental clarity and take intuitive action toward your professional and personal goals. By releasing past emotional blockages, it enables you to align your skills, passions and obstacles, ultimately leading to greater fulfillment, success and purpose.

Q: In the book, you talk about “blocks.” What are blocks and how should they be dealt with?

A: “Blocks” are the patterns, beliefs or behaviors that prevent you from reaching your full potential. For example, feeling guilty for saying no, constantly seeking approval, staying in an unfulfilling career, or using overeating and excessive drinking as coping mechanisms are all blocks. These are often deeply rooted in our subconscious and stem from early conditioning or unresolved emotional experiences.

To deal with these blocks, I recommend using hypnobreathwork to access the root of where these patterns were formed, dissolve the emotional charge, and replace them with empowering and positive suggestions and images.

Q: Journaling is a tool used throughout the book. Why is this an important step of the process?

A: Journaling brings content to the surface, making us more self-aware, helping us think deeper and tapping into our emotions. It’s an effective step to prime our minds to drop in deeper and reflect on what comes up during hypnobreathwork sessions, bringing unconscious thoughts and beliefs into your conscious awareness for change.

Q: What is an expander and how do you choose one?

A: Expanders are individuals or experiences that help you see and believe in the possibilities of your own growth, potential and desired manifestations. They might be people whose lifestyle or attributes resonate with what you aspire to achieve. As real-life role models, their success shows you that your goals are attainable and helps dismantle your self-imposed limitations. By observing and learning from these individuals, you recalibrate your beliefs about what you’re capable of.

Choosing an expander involves identifying someone who inspires you, whose journey or energy aligns with the lifestyle, character, or success you desire. When you align with an expander, you’re essentially reprogramming your subconscious mind by showing yourself real-world proof that your dreams are within reach.

Q: How often should someone do hypnobreathwork? Why?

A: HypnoBreathwork should be practiced daily for 20 minutes in the morning. Consistency is key because it helps you tap into your subconscious mind regularly, allowing you to release emotional blocks, reprogram limiting beliefs, and stay connected to your goals. The more often you practice, the more you strengthen the neural pathways that support new, empowering patterns and behaviors. It’s like building a muscle—the more you work at it, the stronger your ability to stay aligned with your highest potential. Plus, it helps you maintain clarity, focus and a flow state, which are essential for manifesting your desired outcomes.

Q: Is there anything else you would like to add?

A: What I want to inspire people to live by most in this book is the concept of intuitive action. Intuition is your inner knowing—a blend of subconscious wisdom, life experiences and emotional intelligence that bypasses conventional logic and isn’t linear. Taking action is fiercely executing on that inner wisdom. While purpose is the overarching goal—understanding why you’re here and what you’re meant to contribute—intuitive action is how you consistently move toward that purpose. It’s the most important part of hypnobreathwork because it transforms a profound internal experience into clear, actionable steps that allow you to co-create with the universe and manifest the life you desire.
