The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) has announced the recipients of its 2025 Functional Medicine for All Scholarship. This scholarship program aims to expand access to functional medicine training benefiting practitioners and patients worldwide. It is specifically intended for clinicians who are embarking on their certification journey and are dedicated to working with medically underserved communities.
Expanding access to functional medicine education facilitates the broad application of tools to improve the health outcomes of patients and ensures that root-cause, personalized care is available in underserved communities. Thanks to a grant from VoLo Foundation, IFM was able to increase the number of scholarships awarded through the Functional Medicine for All Scholarship in 2025. Some of those awards are earmarked for members of Integrated Medicine for the Underserved (IM4US) and DNPs of Color (DOC), who partner with IFM to reach clinicians who may otherwise be unable to access further education. IFM is committed to lowering the barrier of functional medicine training through scholarships and other initiatives so that we can bring functional medicine care into more communities around the globe.
