Dr. Traub is the chair of the Kamedis Naturopathic Advisory Committee and a former president of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and he was the first contemporary naturopathic physician to be appointed to a hospital staff. He is a frequent industry speaker and prolific writer, and author of the textbook, “Essentials of Dermatological Diagnosis and Integrative Therapeutics.”

“Kamedis is very committed to being a contributing part of the naturopathic community,” said Itai Katzir, CEO of Kamedis. “This benefit event is a natural fit for the company and we are very committed to what MSND is trying to accomplish.”

MSND’s vision is to attain licensure during the current legislative session in Massachusetts, according to Kamedis. Their goal, which has strong grassroots support, is to offer patients in the state access to doctor-level experts of natural medicine.

“I am excited to be part of this special fundraising event,” said Traub. “This event demonstrates the support that Kamedis has for naturopathic medicine in the United States.”

Nearly one in three Americans suffer from one or more of the most common skin conditions, such as acne, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis, according to the company, noting the topical bio-herbal product lines, which are the result of more than 12 years in research, development and clinical trials, complement naturopathic approach designed to address common skin conditions. Kamedis product lines include AC Medis for oily skin and blemishes; TOPIC Medis for itchy and irritated skin; SEBO Medis for flaky, red skin and PSO Medis for scaly, irritated skin. They have clinically proven efficacy and are safe for long term use. Some products are safe for patients as young as six months of age.
