Meredith Corporation, the leading media and marketing company with national brands serving more than 110 million American women including 70 percent of all U.S. female Millennials, recently launched a pilot program with the Bastyr Center for Natural Health to bring natural health resources to employees at Meredith’s Seattle, WA offices.

Meredith Corporation’s nationally recognized and award-winning wellness program offers employees and family members a variety of initiatives related to physical health and emotional well-being; financial wellness; nutrition and healthy eating; and stress management. The company continually looks for new opportunities to promote health while offering campaigns and incentives of greatest interest to employees. As part of this ongoing effort, Meredith is partnering with the Bastyr Center for Natural Health on a pilot program to give Seattle-based employees on-site healthy-living seminars, discounts on select Bastyr services and access to natural health resources.

Established more than 35 years ago, the Bastyr Center for Natural Health is the largest natural health clinic in the Pacific Northwest, receiving up to 35,000 patients visits a year. Bastyr practices a whole-person philosophy and approach to helping patients resolve chronic health problems and/or support a healthy lifestyle to help prevent illness. The clinic offers many health care services and treatments, including naturopathic medicine, nutrition, acupuncture, counseling, homeopathy and ayurvedic medicine. Through a series of informative sessions on heart health and diabetes, office ergonomics, exercise and more, Meredith is bringing Bastyr’s extensive knowledge of natural health to employees at its Seattle offices.

“Meredith is always eager to explore additional areas of wellness that could benefit our employees and promote overall well-being. With our Seattle offices located in the same city as the Pacific Northwest’s largest natural health clinic, it made sense to launch this partnership with Bastyr,” said Tim O’Neil, director of employee benefits and wellness at Meredith. “The company and our employees are excited to get started.”

The program launched this week, and will continue for 2018. On-site seminars for Meredith employees and specialized pricing and appointment scheduling will kick off the initiative, with additional benefits to be rolled out throughout the year.
