NCMIC (Clive, IA) has announced the launch of the NaturoPath to Practice Awards, a quarterly award program created to help naturopathic students offset the significant costs associated with their education—including tuition, books, rent, groceries and more.
“We know that becoming a naturopathic physician is a huge financial commitment,” said Jackie Hellrung, senior naturopathic program manager at NCMIC. “Through the NaturoPath to Practice Awards, we hope to ease the burden and support students on their journey toward a meaningful and impactful career.”
For each remaining quarter in 2025, 10 students who have applied will be randomly selected to receive a $500 award. In 2026, five students will win per quarter for a total of 20 $500 winners throughout the year. The application process is intentionally simple—no essays, no GPA requirements, and it takes just 60 seconds to complete. Eligible students must currently be enrolled in a naturopathic program or have graduated within the last six months.
Entry periods and drawing dates:
- July 1-Sept. 30 (Drawing: Oct. 7, 2025)
- Oct. 1-De 31 (Drawing: Jan. 7, 2026)
Students are encouraged to enter every quarter to maximize their chances of being selected. However, winners may only receive the award once per calendar year.
