ECS Therapeutics Introduces ECS Academy Online Education Platform for Health Professionals

 

 
 

ECS Therapeutics LLC (Hauppauge, NY), a provider of a health care professional-exclusive line of hemp products that support the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS), recently announced the introduction of ECS Academy.

ECS Academy is a free online platform designed to educate health care professionals on the endocannabinoid system, cannabinoids and terpenes, clinical applications of hemp/CBD in support of ECS health, ECS and the skin and more.

“With less than 13 percent of medical schools teaching the endocannabinoid system, ECS Therapeutics is committed to help fill the gap with practitioner education in this exciting area of health and wellness” said Gerard McIntee, president of ECS Therapeutics. “Our program currently provides six different modules of content and allows health professionals to learn at their own pace, at no cost. It’s a very flexible platform. The modules can be viewed individually based on areas of interest, or the program can be taken in its entirety to earn a frame-quality certificate highlighting this training upon successful completion.”

ECS Academy’s educational content is presented by Dr. Stefan Kuprowsky, naturopathic physician, cannabinoid expert and full professor at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. The modules are approved for up to 5 CE Credits by the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine. These CE credits may also apply for other health professions.
