Bastyr University will host its second annual ND Mini Camp July 22-27th, 2018 at its Kenmore, WA campus and invites those considering a degree in naturopathic medicine to attend. Campers will spend five days immersed in the culture of Bastyr, participating in hands-on events such as Qi Gong, Hydrotherapy, Homeopathic First Aid, a tour of campus amenities and more.

Led by distinguished professors from Bastyr’s Naturopathic Medicine department, campers will also explore the many different modalities used in naturopathic medicine, such as physiology, pathology and diagnosis. The five-day program follows major themes of the naturopathic medicine curriculum including wellness, disease and diagnosis, tools for restoring health and wellness and patient care.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals interested in naturopathic medicine to receive a crash course with some of the finest, most distinguished leaders in the field,” said Arianna Staruch, ND, dean of the School of Naturopathic Medicine. “We are thrilled to share our curriculum in this special way and we hope to inspire students to pursue a career in natural medicine.”

Participants who attend the ND Mini Camp and enroll as full-time students at Bastyr University will receive an incoming student scholarship of no less than $1,000.
