ACHS Alumna Cindy Ross Recognized With 2021 DEAC Outstanding Graduate Award
Cindy Ross of Orange Beach, AL, will be honored as the Distance Education and Accrediting Commission
(DEAC) 2021 Outstanding Graduate at the American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS) virtual graduation ceremony.
The DEAC Outstanding Graduate of the Year award celebrates the achievements of distance education students who have demonstrated academic excellence and consistent commitment to society and their chosen profession.
Ross graduated with honors in 2020 and earned a Master of Science in Holistic Nutrition.
The Master’s program opened an entire new world for Ross, providing the necessary tools for her to be professionally recognized in the Functional Medicine community. After graduation, she began studying for the board certification with the National Association of Nutritional Professionals (NANP).
She now holds multiple board certifications and her private practice, Life Wellness Forever, is thriving. Through Life Wellness Forever, Ross is able to practice Functional Medicine and is currently helping patients all over the country achieve a better quality of life.
Ross is also enrolled in a PhD of Natural Health Sciences and Doctorate of Natural Medicine program. Her legacy project is a non-profit 501c3 that she created in 2016 called C.H.A.D. She plans on using her education to provide humanitarian work of functional medicine along with nutrition counseling in underprivileged communities worldwide through her organization.
